The SPC superchargers are an amazing technological development in the electric supercharger world.  The SPC Green-Air H can be used with hybrid engines to dramatically increase how well it uses gas.  Our patent pending SPC Green-Air H is a revolutionary device that may increase your power, mileage and reduce harmful emissions.  By using computers to control the all aspects of the Green-Air H supercharger, it can be used to precisely add the right amount of air pressure for the ultimate in efficiency.  One of the wonderful aspects of an electric supercharger is; hybrid already produce plenty of electricity to power it!  All of our SPC superchargers use full metal construction from high grade aluminum (200% stronger than T-6 grade), titanium, steel and ceramic.  You won’t find any cheap plastic or rubber bodies on our SPC units.

 

Each patent pending SPC Green-Air Hybrid features:

 

  • Twin opposed 108amp ultra high speed brushless motors able to handle 12 volts – 24 volts, no load rpm per volt is 4,000 or 12v = 48,000 no load RPM - up to – 24v = 96,000rpm, resistance is a mere 0.0034 and they operate with extreme efficiency.  Gearing - for each motor turn on the input shaft, it equals 2.5 turns on the output shaft.  Theoretical no load output shaft speed is 120,000rpm @ 12v and 240,000rpm @ 24v.  Actual load speeds are about 30% less than no load speeds on 12volts; approximate loaded speed of 84,000rpm @ 12v.  With 24 volts the speed is electronically limited to 135,000rpm. We electronically limit the speed to stay well within the materials shear strength.

 

  • Twin high amperage ultra low resistance computers to control the twin motors, 200amp constant and 230amp burst, both encased in our patent pending full aluminum cooling box injected with moisture free gas.  Liquid cooling ready ceramic heat dissipation systems for the computers and liquid cooling kits are upgrade options available at additional cost.

 

  • Full aluminum high strength stress relieved gear box designed with multiple edges for strength and increased surface area for cooling, they are CNC 4 axis cut from a solid chunk of aluminum.  Liquid cooling ready gear boxes are available along with liquid cooling kits; they are sold as an upgrade option at additional cost.

 

  • Ultra hard secondary process stress relieved low energy loss spiral bevel gears coated with a third process material that has the same expansion rate as the underlying gear metal to increase longevity and performance (custom exotic metal spiral bevel gear sets are extremely expensive…they are so expensive, we decided to invest in our own gear production machine).

 

  • Titanium input and output shafts to reduce moving mass weight and afford ultra strength for the extreme speeds and lightning fast spooling up of 1/5 of a second.  Because of the extreme and very sudden torque, these are secondary process, stress relieved shafts.
  • Custom high speed precision ceramic bearings, rated to speed close to 200,000rpm, these are sealed with a specialized permanent lubricant and require no maintenance.  For those who wish to use liquid cooling for high use or under extreme conditions; liquid cooling ready gear boxes and liquid cooling kits are sold as an upgrade option.

 

  • Battery to computer power cable is “0” gauge oxygen free low resistance wire (do not simply go to the store and buy power cable for the SPC superchargers, please use our included wires so you don’t have energy loss form cheap wires); the tri wire sets from each computer to each motor is three 10 gauge silver coated copper ultra low resistance wire, the grounding wire is 4 gauge oxygen free cable.

 

  • In cabin fighter style or discrete rocker arming switch with 10’ of super high grade Teflon silver coated copper wire

 

  • Computer programmable progressive boost able to be precisely tuned

 

  • High flow cone filter from AEM or K&N.  Do not use a cheap filter, they can collapse under high cfm draw situations.

 

  • Basic installation instructions and hardware are included.

 

 

Approximate over all dimensions when facing the air input side:  top to bottom 10" measuring the narrow motor/gear box length (the orientation can be changed, but must be done by us), the Left to Right is 9" and depth is 7".  Keep in mind that this is not a square and there is plenty of room around the motors and gear box that can be used.  The motor/gear box width is approximately 3".

 

Finish options: Powder coating and Anodizing - gazillion colors available and custom colors.  Basic colors such as red, blue, black and yellow are colors that do not fall under the non-refundable category.  All other colors are non-refundable.  Please see the color page... please email for color information jim@superpowercharger.com    Powder Coating - add $37 basic color, Anodizing - $67 basic color. Included in this price is: Electric supercharger, dual computer system encased in aluminum, basic wiring, computer controller interface, in cabin switch, basic mounting hardware, cone filter, fuse holder and fuse.

Please note:  You or your mechanic will need some basic electrical wiring skills and the creative ability to install this in your vehicle.  This may include a trip to the hardware store, drilling and bolting.  The almost always require at least some fabrication for installation. All installations do require a short ram or cold air intake…or, you can bring your SPC supercharger to a few exhaust shops to see if they will bend a custom intake tube for you…this is what I would do.  You cannot force or suck this much air through any stock intake...period.  Remember, this is an ultra high performance system.  If you plan on running this higher than 6psi - 8psi on a stock vehicle, and I assume you will, you must use a fuel and timing management computer OR we highly recommend purchasing a Snow Performance water methanol injection system from us.  Installing a high capacity fuel pump and larger injectors may be need if you wish to get maximum performance.  Unlike turbochargers, this does not require an intercooler (that'el save you big $$ right there compared to a turbo).  We sell everything you may need or will find it for you.
